My love for keyboard instruments began at the age of six, the moment I touched the keys of a piano for the first time. What began as a spark of childhood wonder has grown into a lifelong devotion to sound, rhythm, and the boundless potential of music. Born in India and raised in Nepal, I found myself immersed in the rich textures of both Eastern and Western traditions, a duality that continues to shape my creative identity.

As I grew, so did my curiosity. I didn't limit myself to one genre or one instrument. I explored everything from jazz to pop, from Nepali folk to Indian and Western classical, even fusing in elements of rock, R&B, and experimental music. Formal studies in Ethnomusicology at Kathmandu University helped deepen my understanding of music as a cultural language, while my hands-on experiences refined my voice as a performer, composer, and producer.

Over the years, I've learned that music is not just about technical mastery, it's about telling a story. My journey is still unfolding, and every note I play is a step forward.

Professional Experience

With over 20 years in the professional music scene, I've had the privilege of performing, producing, and collaborating in diverse musical environments both at home and internationally. My performances have taken me from prestigious venues in Nepal to global stages in the United Kingdom, Australia, Malaysia, and beyond.

I've worked as a music director and keyboardist for leading reality shows like Nepal Idol, Voice of Nepal, and SaReGaMaPa Li'l Champs Nepal, where I've helped shape some of the most memorable performances seen on South Asian television. My role extends beyond performance, where I arrange, produce, and mentor rising talents, always seeking to elevate the musical conversation.

Throughout my journey, I've collaborated with legendary artists including Asha Bhosle, Sadhana Sargam, Ani Choying Drolma, Nhyoo Bajracharya, Sajjan Raj Vaidya, and countless others from Nepal's vibrant music community.

These collaborations have deeply enriched my artistry and expanded my musical horizons. I'm honored to have received accolades such as winning the Piano Challenge at ASP Muzic Community and earning distinctions from ABRSM and the London College of Music. I've also been featured by artists like Aimee Nolte and have played with celebrated bands and ensembles across genres.

From jazz festivals and tribute concerts to studio recordings and live tours, every experience has taught me something new and helped me grow into the musician I am today.
